Two Demonstrations

Riot police at a demonstration where Nepali people demanded justice for their loved ones who were murdered by Maoist rebels.  The Supreme Court has dropped all pending cases regarding the political unrest that saw 15,000 innocent people die between 1996-2006.

Ujjah Kumar Shrestha lost his Father when he was only two years old to a maoist leader who is now a member of Parliament.  After his Father's brother testified in court, he was also killed.  After witnessing her Father's murder in a patty field, Ujjah's couisin committed suicide.  The Supreme Court convicted the member of Parliament, but is now mysteriously dropping the case.

This woman held a sign at the June 5 protest declaring that the man who murdered her husband, due to his political beliefs, will never face a jury.
